Ministry: Unprecedented cyberattacks hit state portal on Wed–Thu

MOSCOW, Nov 12 (PRIME) -- The Russian state services portal Gosuslugi is under the strongest ever attack for a second day in a row, its information security service works in an enhanced regime, the Digital Development Ministry said late on Thursday in a statement.

“The portal of state service is under an unprecedented cyberattack. Gosuslugi is subjected to the most powerful cyberattack for the entire time of the portal's operation for a second day,” the ministry said.

The portal’s experimental chat-bot Max was also attacked, but it has no access to users’ personal data.

The ministry said earlier the portal resisted a record strong cyberattack of over 680 Gbit/s on Wednesday.
